From emerging director David Findlay, produced by Asymetric Media, comes a new film all about the AIR that separates us.

We see scenes that feel slightly surreal but rooted in the new normal. Two tai chi practitioners moving through a morning flow; two dogs pulling their leads but never quite getting to greet each other; a pair of friends reciprocating the head-nod acknowledgment across the yard.  All the instances of human connection and interaction, just slightly changed, just barely interrupted.

The dreamy track creates an atmosphere to AIR, making it a strange and clear commentary on the ways we have adapted to continue to foster connection. The small moments depicted; solidarity, friendship, the scene of kids lining up after a game, it all leads to this larger movement towards understanding and compassion. The empathy is understood as two teenagers smile at each other, their hands on a railing, touching-not-touching.
