Inclusivity shouldn’t come at a cost.

Transgender individuals already have a lot of health concerns, and for many trans men, periods are still something they have to deal with every month. In Cycle, three people explain their struggles with finding period products that reflect their experience and don’t take away from their identity.

With care and consideration, director Mar del Corral has given these people space to speak their truths without judgement or opinions from anyone else. It’s a powerful reminder that some struggles are universal, and not gendered. Working with agency McCann Madrid, the piece was produced by Great Guns and BLUR films.

Del Corral comments: “Working with Kenny [Ethan Jones], Jamie [Raines], and Siufung [Law] was incredible. When you admire the person you are filming, everything goes so smoothly… It felt like we were making something bigger than a commercial. It was a statement, it was a manifesto, it was a need.”
