New York and London based animation production company and illustration agency Jelly have recently recruited a new Illustration and Animation Agent, Lou Bones, from the Association of Illustrators, where she was Membership Manager for four years.

Lou’s time at the AOI saw her involved in all aspects of the company’s business development, talent development, client & contract negotiation, copyrighting, licensing & fees. She notes that, “the best thing about this industry is working directly with such creative people, not only being able to nurture and support incredible talent but also being able to match them with great clients, seeing all the ideas and project some to fruition - makes for some serious job satisfaction!”

Lou brings a vast knowledge of the modern creative world which will prove invaluable to Jelly as the company moves forwards in the new media landscape. As one of the few studios that represents illustrators, designers and animation directors with equanimity, her skillset is uniquely tailored to help Jelly as they expand in the UK, Europe and their new studio in New Work.

Chris Page, Founder of Jelly says, “We have been friends and fans of Lou for a long time, mainly because of her years of impeccable work at the AOI, where she has played a high part in their transformation into the modern, proactive membership organisation that all of us in the illustration world have grown to rely on. She’s a smart cookie and we can’t wait to work with her.”

On her new role at Jelly, Lou notes, “For me, it’s always been important to surround myself with people who are super fun, candid, hard working and inspiring the team AND roster at Jelly are all of these and more so I’m over the moon to join them.”
