Production company The Royal Budapest Film Co.’s director Justin Reardon, enjoys another wild ride with Oto Film and the Bardzo Agency and Lech Beer, Poland.

This entertaining campaign is headlined by its’ Lech Premium work, which features a determined hero who must overcomes a series of unexpected obstacles in order to attend his friend’s birthday party; all while holding his friend’s special gift, a six Pack of Lech Premium Beer. The campaign’s signature Bard character pops up throughout the film, singing our hero through his gruelling journey that includes, swimming with sharks, sprinting on top of a speeding train, riding on horseback and leaping across rooftops.

Reardon, once again uses his “in-camera” style to create the perfect balance between drama and comedy, giving the film’s action scenes a sense of absurdity but without losing all sense of reality. “I always enjoy the process of figuring out how to make weird things happen for real”.

For example, in the horse scene, there was no safe solution for the actor to ride side-saddle, so Reardon had the actor ride traditionally and then added a fake leg on his right hip, creating a successful illusion that the actor was sitting sideways. “The biggest laugh came from watching our actor walk around with 3 legs before getting on the horse. It definitely freaked out a lot of innocent bystanders. I’m sure it made a lot of people’s Instagram.”
