Odelay Films welcome directing duo The Masons to their evolving roster.

Maruska and Donna-Marie Mason are a much admired photography and directing duo, and are partners in both life and creativity. Based in London & Paris they have carved themselves a niche for capturing empowering films that challenge outdated notions, which capitalise on their trademark bold style.

The Masons are particularly well known for storytelling, capturing human connections whilst exploring diversity and equality with a timeless style that transcends cultures.

This approach, coupled with their ability to capture beautiful and natural performances, make them the perfect directors for clients in the beauty arena. As such they have worked extensively for many global fashion and beauty brands. To date they have created campaigns for an impressive range of clients that include Chanel, Hugo Boss, Stella McCartney, L'Oréal, NYX Professional Make Up, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, Teen Vogue, The New York Times and Coco de Mer.

They also represent the first signing for newly appointed MD (maternity cover) of Odelay Films, Aly Moffat. Moffat has long been an admirer of The Masons and along with the team is delighted to welcome them onboard.

Commenting on their arrival Aly Moffat says: “We are absolutely thrilled that The Masons have signed to Odelay for representation. Over the years the duo have naturally progressed to creating film work to sit alongside their critically acclaimed stills, with a style that feels so much of our time. Combined with their intrinsic values and informed work, they align perfectly with Odelay. It feels like the perfect match. The Masons are a really exciting addition to our roster and we can’t wait to get started on this new chapter with them”.

We love projects that tell stories and also projects that challenge the norms and champion unconventional beauty,”

Showcasing Black skin, the beauty, the richness, the details. We are thrilled to be on board with Odelay. Joining forces with such a dynamic team, will definitely enhance our journey in exploring more within our aesthetics We can't wait to see the creative work we will surely make together”.
