What the most creative advertising idea you’ve seen recently?

The work that Uncommon has been doing for ITV is brilliant. The latest spot, More Than TV, forcefully repositions TV as a force for good.

What website(s) do you use most regularly and why?

I’m a bit of a news junkie so I’m on pretty much every major news site every day.

What’s the most recent piece of tech that you’ve bought and why?

I dunno about tech that I’ve bought, but the Wanna Kicks app that uses AR to let you try shoes on certainly made me want to buy some new trainers. But in fairness, that doesn't take much.

What product could you not live without?

My 12-year-old Dualit Toaster.

What’s the best film you’ve seen over the last year?

Roma. It’s just brilliantly crafted on every level.

What film do you think everyone should have seen and why?

I only recently watched Chinatown and it blew me away. An Oscar-winning script and peak Jack Nicholson.

What’s your preferred social media platform and why?

Twitter. #shortattentionspan

What’s your favourite TV show and why?

Currently Line of Duty. I know in that show, everything I think will happen won’t, and that’s the brilliance of it.

What’s your favourite podcast?

Athletico Mince [below] by Bob Mortimer. It’s a football(ish) podcast on acid. A lot of acid.

What show/exhibition has most inspired you recently?

Saga Booth at the Richmond Town Hall. Wonderful drawings. One of which features my cat.

What’s the most significant change you’ve witnessed in the industry since you started working in it?

We’re all generalists now. Sadly.

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

We’d be braver.

Who or what has most influenced your career and why?

Working with people I like, what’s the point otherwise?

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know.

I read A-Level Tudor history textbooks for fun.
