What artist(s) would you most like to work with and why?

Probably Kate Tempest, Tirzah, Arca, Kaytranada, Rosalia, Missy Elliot, Lizzo, Earl Sweatshirt, Earthgang, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, Leikeli47, Koffee, Ezra Collective, Moses Sumney, Serpent with Feet, Anohni, Lafawndah, Klein, Yves tumor, Christine and the Queens, Bon Iver, Bjork, Frank Ocean, Esperanza Spalding, Nao, Ibeyi, Loyle Carner... I mean the list goes on.

How do you feel the promo industry has changed since you started in it?

I would probably say it's more saturated. Musicians are creating more and more music videos and short content around their album releases.

Where do you see the music video industry being in five years’ time?

I could see more 15-60 minute films being created around music, or perhaps more interactive/experiential music videos where people can go to a museum or theatre and see music portrayed visually in an installation.

I think audiences are craving pieces of art that they can connect with, on an emotional and tangible level. Right now there’s a lot of stuff, but not a lot of films that people can feel connected with.

I imagine musicians will refocus their visual output to address this.
