On 2nd December at the Web Summit in Lisbon, Ridley Scott Creative Group Amsterdam revealed the new brand identity and manifesto film they have developed to launch the Digital with Purpose Movement. 

Led by the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI), the Movement sets standards for the development and deployment of digital technologies, and aims to rally together the tech industry to help meet the Paris Agreement and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs).

To launch the Movement with a bang and help inform and inspire the world about Digital With Purpose’s mission, Ridley Scott Creative Group Amsterdam was brought on as creative partner, leading on branding and communications. ‘The Positron’ logo at the core of the new brand identity symbolises Digital With Purpose's mission: for digital technologies to be positively charged with purpose. The manifesto film, meanwhile, looks at the potential threats of technology on the world today, before highlighting Digital With Purpose’s call to arms directed at the world's leading tech companies. 

Ridley Scott himself has also signed up as an ambassador.
