When you're a kid used to Disney, Looney Tunes and whatever Saturday morning had to offer, a first viewing of Watership Down or Heavy Metal can make for quite a formative experience.
It's telling, therefore, that the animation style and dark tone present in said flicks forms the basis for this great-looking promo for The Strokes' new single At The Door.
Directed by artist Mike Burakoff, the film's striking look and moving sentiment matches perfectly with the melancholic tones of the band's track, the lead single from their first album in almost seven years.
