Father/son relationships are often played out in ads, but few are imbued with the level of intense love as shown in the absorbing, outstanding Together Again for Cancerfonden - The Swedish Cancer Society.
Following a dad and his kid from early days to fledgling adulthood, the film brings a sense of true warmth and compassion between the two, mostly down to B-Reel Films director Sacarias Kiusalaas' excellent eye for narrative and a pair of phenomenal performances.
When the dreaded C-word does appear, the screen is torn apart by the frustration and upset of the younger family member, his parent instead displaying melancholic acceptance. Yet we're still witness to tender moments between the two.
As for the ending... well, we'll let you see how this one plays out. Suffice to say, damp eyes are earned with this cracking film.
