With the passing of the New Year Trim is really excited to welcome two new editors.

James Forbes-Robertson spent the last 10 years honing his skills on complex and high-end projects, building a solid reputation as a talented and reliable editor across Europe. James' got the Midas touch, he even turned a few edits into gold along the way, winning a Gold Cannes Lions, a Gold British Arrows, a Gold LIA award and a D&AD Pencils. He's like a giant fortune cat, that's maybe why directors such as Tom Green and Rollo Jackson keep coming back. On joining Trim, James said ‘I have for many years thought of Trim as the best edit house around, when they asked me to join I couldn't believe my luck. I am super excited to be a Trimmer.’

Thanks James, Trim know how lucky they are. Take down the horseshoe, James is in the house…

Matt Newman has burst into Trim with Ziggy, his canine acolyte, an amazing addition to the Trim puppy roster.

Matt started his career cutting trailers where his dynamic style and his keen eye for narrative took shape. He spent the last 10 years working as a creative director for Grey, overseeing the team's editorial work while also cutting commercials, music videos and short films. Matt impressively managed to build up a client base with companies like SomesuchBelieveRSABlink and built strong working relationships with directors such as Hannah Maria Heidrich and Michel & Nico. About joining Trim this year, Matt said 'I have long admired the guys work from afar so to be asked to join was a dream come true. I have had the most amazing welcome and am so excited to be part of the Trim family.'
Ziggy said 'woof' twice, and that's a good sign.

Paul Hardcastle, Trim's founding partner said: 'We're very happy to have such great and fun guys joining. We generally have a strict policy of promoting within the company and developing our young editors; but when such undeniable talents show interest, an exception must be made. We're excited to see them mentor younger editors and challenge the most experienced ones.”
