1.5 million older people in the UK feel lonely and half a million of them can go a week without seeing or speaking to anyone at all.

Sky's Customer Service team have committed to all giving time, every week, to connect with older customers and help tackle loneliness in their communities.

Laura Scrivano and Missing Link Films worked with the wonderful team at Sky Creative Agency with some useful insights directly from the staff that run this programme. The brief was to capture an authentic and emotional film whilst telling the story of the home lives of a lonely older gentleman and a women from the Sky Customer Service team, who is also a busy mother, as they uncover common ground.

Scrivano shot this commercial in between her two new TV series: Extinction (Sky) and Wedding Season (Disney +).
