Creatives Get Happy with Retweet Bingo
Happiness Brussels launches unique Twitter game to recruit a social media creative.
Looking for a social media job with a communications agency? You can now win a contract with Happiness Brussels by taking part in a fun game of bingo.
Happiness Brussels is asking potential creatives to take a gamble by visiting www.retweetbingo.com and taking part in a new game where traditional bingo card numbers are replaced by major Twitter influencers. To prove their social media prowess, players must get their tweets re-tweeted by big names such as Le Soir, The Guardian, or even Barack Obama.
“Anyone can sling cute messages into the world via social media, but if you get your audience to re-tweet via this bingo card, then you are really making a point. With ReTweet Bingo, we are on the hunt for the best social media influencers,” says Niek Eijsbouts, a creative director at the agency.
The agency is looking for people who understand how brands need to behave in the social media sphere, and know the right tone of voice to use at any time. Whether you’re a photographer, journalist, graphic designer or übernerd that dreams in memes and talks in hashtags, you are invited to prove yourself in a game of Retweet Bingo.
Karen Corrigan, CEO of Happiness Brussels, says: “Since it launched in 2005, Happiness has been working on the principle that ‘everything is media’. In 2010 we already adapted that to ‘Everything and everyone is media’. With the integration of social media, today is no different from 2005. From an international outdoor campaign to an integrated social media campaign, it is more important than ever for brands that their communications be managed and integrated by a single partner.”
Not only will the winner bag a six-month trial at Happiness HQ working with clients such as Toyota; Bacardi-Martini and Nivea, they’ll also nab an iPhone Gold and, naturally, oodles of happiness.
