The NiceBot is a Nice Lot of Positivity
Deutsch tackles cyberbullying by creating an automated positivity-spreading Twitter account to reach all users.
The internet is flooded with insults... apparently something hurtful is posted every 60 seconds.
But imagine receiving a compliment from a total stranger… would you be offended or flattered?
Deutsch is responding to these facts with its The NiceBot campaign, an initiative created to combat cyberbullying and spread positivity.
Teaming up with non-profit organisation Champions Against Bullying - who last year raised awareness of teenagers committing suicide from bullying - organisers knew that the campaign had to be even bigger.
Enter The NiceBot. A Twitter account that sends out automated messages of positivity every 36 seconds… to every Twitter user. All 200 million of them.
@__Tumelo There is no wondering about how wonderful you are. #TheNiceBot

The campaign has also sent out a number of 3D-printed NiceBots (below) to various celebrity influencers to help them spread the message and phase out cyberbullying. Each of these NiceBots has an LCD screen attached to its chest to broadcast the nice tweets as they go out.
Get involved by tweeting @TheNiceBot or use the #TheNiceBot handle – and look out for your positive tweet.
