Amsterdam is known for its laid-back approach, beautiful canals and friendly faces. And while INDIE Amsterdam's creative director/owner Lode Schaeffer takes shots by the hand to accompany him on his daily activities - early morning cycle rides, admiring the canals from the office and appreciating the evening sunset - he also seems to get a surprising amount of work done too. Maybe it's the greenhouse effect...

07.10 One-handed selfie: Daily morning exercise! Every day I get on my bike to ride to the office. On the way, I pass beautiful Dutch landscapes.

12.00 Lazy lounging: Office doggy Teun chills on one of our lazy couches, where we hang out and listen to someone playing on the drums (that’s them in the back).

13.30 Beer O'clock: I'm chairman of the Art Directors Club Netherlands [ADCN] - something I've done since 2011. This is the ADCN Vernissage to launch the annual ADCN event. This year, its hosted by Heineken, which shows how ADCN is expanding its horizons!

15.00 Technical mapping: A floorplan of the A’DAM – the coolest tower in town, due to open in a few months and soon-to-be home of offices, cafés, restaurants, a hotel and a club. Together with a bunch of privileged people, I've seen a preview of the tower.

16:00 Ladies who... work: The ladies from Tele2 headquarters Sweden came over today. What positive energy!

17.00 Sun Down: Another lovely view. This time, it's one of the romantic channels in Amsterdam, right next to our office door.

18:00 Keeping inspired: Our designer Roell surfs the web on shots and reads the latest updates.

19:00 Scream if you want to go faster: A big shout out for Dutch rapper, Lil’ Kleine, who collaborated with one of our clients for the hit Niet Omdat Het Moet.
