MAG Promotes Bermuda Hols with Unusual OOH ads
Bermuda Tourism promotes its services using vehicle recognition technology to target appropriate consumers.
Got a fancy car that’s worth more than £40k? That you’ve had for less than four years? You may find that you’re targeted for holidays to Bermuda.
Media Agency Group (MAG) has introduced a new mobile and OOH display that activates vehicle recognition technology to promote Bermuda Tourism.
Once drivers of these vehicles drive closely to the adverts, the words Hello Bermudaful (above) will appear on the billboard in a bid to entice London's drivers.
This multimedia campaign will be rolled out throughout the winter months as well as feature on the pages of luxury publications and it will be the first time that this vehicle recognition system has been used.
Mobile-specific ads (below) will also form part of the international campaign, allowing users to rub out the advertisement to access the brand's pink holiday sale.
“Bermuda required a campaign that delivered minimum wastage and maximum relevance – by tapping into vehicle recognition tech we’ve been able to target an ideal audience and ensure that they are served with personalised, effective advertising messages,” says MAG’s MD John Kehoe.
So, if you think you fall into the affluent holidaymakers bracket, be sure to book Bermuda this year.
