KLM and Code d'Azur Create Emoji Messenger

The Dutch airline, working with Code d'Azur has released a Facebook Messenger bot that will send you travel recommendations if you send it emojis.
This new feature was conceived as an extension of KLM's already existing Messenger system. The first chatboat created by an airline, it already boasts features such as the ability to send you your boarding pass and other flight details.
Now, though, it will send you travel recommendations based on a number of emojis. Sending the bot an emoji of a pizza, for example, then sending the app your location, will result in the user being sent details of local Italian restaurants. A money emoji, meanwhile, will result in details of the nearest ATMs.
Other emojis the bot has been programmed to respond to include the burger (burger restaurants), the high heeled shoe (shoe shops), and the twin dancing bunny girls (nightclub).
Code d'Azur CEO Nik Nieuwenhuijs said of the new features, 'As emoji are indispensable and KLM wants to inspire people on their journey we think this new service is a perfect solution to help travelers all over the world,' before promising, 'even cooler initiatives are coming.'
They have also created a video that explains the scheme and shows it working in action:
