Imagine if you got artists of different disciplines together to cross-collaborate and create?

Such is the premise behind experiential production company, Will O’Rourke’s new film series for Google Tilt Brush – the VR app that allows you to paint in 3D.

Director Leilani Croucher teamed up with visual artist James Jean, ballerina Sharni Spencer, architect Kelvin Ho and typographer Luke Lucas, asking them to share their artistic processes in a virtual space. And the effect is mesmerising.

In the docu-film – which was live produced at the Semi Permanent Sydney 2017 event – the app’s success is evident as the artists realise how easily the app enhances their imaginations and how it can develop their design process.

Together, they created VR art, proving that the Google Tilt Brush app offers endless possibilities for artists to explore.

And best of all? The artists were super psyched and dumbfounded by how well the experiment panned out.
