Ross from Friends Stars in Super Bowl Ad Sporting Dodgy Hair
David Schwimmer is the celebrity behind Skittles' mysterious Super Bowl stunt. Although his hair doesn't look great, his comedic timing is on point & reminiscent of Ross.
Skittles has upped the ante with its secret Super Bowl spot.
Previously, the brand revealed that this year's Big Game offering would be screened to just one teenager, who goes by the name of Marcos Menendez. However all other details were spared from this announcement.
Now a series of follow-up teaser spots from DDB have been released, letting slip who the spot's celebrity will be and it could (hopefully) spell a bit of a career revival.
David Schwimmer, who played the legendary Ross in 90s TV series Friends, has returned to the screen, teasing scenes from the actual ad - which won't be seen by anybody but Menendez.
In each trailer, Schwimmer supports various hairstyles, although our personal favourite is the 'do featured in Puppet (below) with shoulder-length, slightly lank-looking tresses.

Thankfully, while Schwimmer himself may not be looking as "fleek" as usual (blame the hair), his humour is on point and very much in line with the Ross we all know and love.
And it seems Schwimmer is as skeptical as the rest of us that there's an actual ad being screened behind this stunt... or maybe he just doesn't know any more than we do. YET.

Look out for shots issue 174, out in March, in which director Tom Kuntz reflects on his time working on Skittles' iconic Trade, Leak and Beard spots.
