The Martin Agency has crafted a simple, yet profoundly affecting campaign for the John F Kennedy Library Foundation that resurrects inspirational quotes from the former POTUS via a new Twitter handle @JohnFKennedy

With the current encumbent of the White House spewing a stream of diabolical Tweets that often resemble the jabberings of a deranged toddler rather than the leader of the free world, it’s good to find some genuine wisdom in a US president’s Twitter feed, even if it’s a dead one.

Led by the hashtag #Words Count, JFK's newly activated Twitter feed comprises exact quotes from John Fitzgerald Kennedy, who served as the 35th US President from January 1961 until he was assassinated in November 1963.

Scrolling through the quotes, it’s hard not to be moved by the liberal ideals and political wisdom contained in the sage statesman’s great speeches. It’s also heartening to read the reactions the Tweets are garnering.

Steven Rothstein, the JFK Library's executive director commented: “Today, we see citizen activism on the rise, increased voter participation rates and a new generation that is speaking out and getting involved in the political process."

"With the launch of this effort, we hope JFK’s words will speak directly to them, with the immediacy and urgency of a modern platform, to be a guiding light as they set out to shape our future.”

The campaign comprises digital, outdoor and OOH ads along with the Twitter feed.
