Not only is the holiday season the most important time of year for retailers but for health insurance companies, as well.

Running from November 1st to December 15th is the open enrollment period – the period when consumers can enroll in a health plan for the first time, switch providers, or change their plan. 

Blue Shield of California (BSC) launched a new campaign created by Sausalito-based agency, BSSP, to encourage people to enroll in a BSC health plan and push their highest priority plan offering, Trio Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).

The campaign’s emotional nature is a standout within the healthcare space. In a series of black and white spots, the work highlights BSC’s 24/7 on call doctors, 600+ urgent care centers statewide, house calls 365 days/year, and on call pharmacists. 

BSC knows people want more from their health plan and wants to support consumers during a crucial time of the year. Through this new campaign, the health insurance company shows us that with Trio HMO, you get a better kind of HMO.
