ENTERTAINMENT LIONS

Picking up the Grand Prix in the Entertainment category was the enjoyable, thought-proking and nausea-inducing Eat A Swede mockumentary for the Swedish Food Federation.

Speaking of the perfect timing for the piece, Jury President Maria Garrido commented that the piece "turned the category conventions on its head" with its use of intelligent comedy, citing that the film left jurors "disturbed, entertained, engaged… and hungry". The film also ticked the three boxes the jury looked for in all successful submissions: value to audience; value to brand; and excellence in creativity.

ENTERTAINMENT LIONS FOR MUSIC

Smashing its better-known competition out of the way, Doomsday Entertainment's provocative music video for Residente track This Is Not America grabbed a Grand Prix with its overtly political agenda and poignant imagery.

Sparked by a conversation as to whether the piece could be considered hate speech, BBH President Amani Duncan, Jury Head for the category, spoke on the fact that the decision would not have been possible were it not for the "diverse panel at the table".

Noting that the project allowed the brand to "leverage sport to highlight human differences", Nike's woman-focussed NikeSync campaign picked up the Grand Prix.

Considering the gigantic impact on culture the field of sports has, Jury President Marcel Marcondes utilised everyone's favourite Spider-Man quote, "with great power comes great responsibility", to discuss the challenges the panel faced
