German Torres is a director based in Los Angeles, California, celebrated for his distinctive approach to storytelling and visual artistry. His creative journey began in a Mexican American neighbourhood, where his early passion for DIY skateboarding videos laid the foundation for his dynamic filmmaking style.
With a profound appreciation for the fluidity and freedom of skateboarding, Torres' work frequently explores the elegance of human motion. His ability to capture movement has become a hallmark of his storytelling.
Torres approaches every project with empathy and the intention of crafting an inspiring story with captivating imagery. Working across commercial, music videos and docs-narrative projects, Torres has collaborated with clients such as Converse, ASUS and Reebok.

These projects, though unconventional, were filled with adventure and discovery. A decade later, I've realised that the projects I enjoy directing the most are those that evoke the same feelings.
