Eroda: No Land Quite Like it, the frown-shaped island just off the coast of England that stars in the promo for Harry Styles’ latest single, has a name that seems like a suspiciously flipped version of the track's title, Adore You.

That's not the only thing that's flipped in the vid, directed by Dave Meyers and featuring narration from singer/songwriter Rosalía, which represents a coming of age tale with a fishy twist.

The promo comes with much anticipation after leaving fans on the internet curious about what the mysterious Eroda could possibly be linked to.... ultimately revealed as a sneaky digital promotion for the track.

In the film, Styles is portrayed as an outcast on the peculiar island that is cursed by an eternal frown and a perpetual cloud in the sky. Dubbed as peculiar because of his million-watt smile, the star seems to be the only one who is able to form a grin on the whole isle, with the locals' inability to accept anything different making his heart grow heavy.

The video takes a turn when he eventually loses his bright smirk “...and, without it, the world grew darker, the wind colder, and the ocean more violent”. Styles then makes his way into the rough sea with rocks in his pockets, but, when a dying fish jumps out of the water, he embarks on a mission to save it.

Styles is ending 2019 a high note, leaving us with one of the most unique, yet oddly enjoyable, promos to have come out this year.
