Hogarth Worldwide, the WPP global content production company, has appointed Nick Lee as its new UK managing director. He succeeds Monica Taylor, who has been promoted to global chief client officer.

Lee brings extensive experience to the role, having most recently served as global client managing director at Hogarth, overseeing high-profile luxury brands. His career began at AMV BBDO, where he worked with clients including Sainsbury’s, Heinz, and BlackBerry. In 2013, he joined Havas London, contributing to the agency’s transformation and playing a key role in its IPA and APG award wins and B-Corp certification. During his tenure, he managed major accounts such as Peugeot, Citroën, and Ella’s Kitchen, becoming the agency’s youngest managing partner in 2018.

His passion for production led him to Hogarth in 2022, where he managed key luxury accounts, including Rolex and Dyson.

“From the minute I walked in the door, I knew Hogarth was different. Tons of talent but zero ego, and now, AI-powered tools like WPP Open are taking us to a whole new level. The fact we’re applying that to many of the biggest brands in the world makes it even more exciting. It’s a genuine honour to be leading the UK business at such a pivotal time,” says Lee.

“Having worked closely with Nick over the past couple of years, I’m delighted that he is now stepping up to the role of managing director for Hogarth UK,” adds Matt Kitcherside, CEO, EMEA, Hogarth. “Nick has brought an infectious energy to the teams he has led, and I’m hugely excited about where he will take the UK business next.”

Beyond his professional achievements, Lee has advised London Mayor Sadiq Khan on child health through the Mayor’s Advisory Group, mentors leadership students at Durham University, co-founded a London theatre company, and sings in an internationally awarded chamber choir.

As UK managing director, Lee will oversee all aspects of the company’s UK operations, focusing on growth and reinforcing Hogarth’s position as a leader in content production. His appointment is effective immediately.
