Stept Studios expands its commercial team with the addition of industry veteran Joe Biggins as Stept’s Managing Director of Commercials.

Biggins brings a new level of experience in commercial advertising and talent management to the award-winning production company Stept Studios. Biggins' role will include fostering the talent on Stept’s roster, partnership with Stept’s commercial reps, Simpatico and Doug Stephen & Partners, as well as furthering relationships with advertising agencies.

Prior to joining Stept Studios, Biggins served as the Head of the US office for Rattling Stick, where he led groundbreaking campaigns that received widespread acclaim within the advertising industry. Under his leadership, Rattling Stick produced an array of revered work that garnered numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious Cannes Lion Grand Prix, D&AD Black Pencil, an Emmy nomination, and the Super Clio for the best Super Bowl spot.

Biggins shared, “There’s a tendency in this industry to always be looking for the next big thing, with Stept I feel it’s already here. With the combination of a dynamically talented roster of filmmakers and a kinetic, forward-thinking company, Stept’s potential is boundless. So, almost needless to say, I couldn’t be more excited about joining the team.”

Beyond his achievements at Rattling Stick, Biggins is also recognised as a self-starter. He founded The Inflatable Crowd Company, a pioneering venture for crowd enhancement that leaned on old school problem solving to bridge the gap between traditional filmmaking and the digital revolution in film and television production.

“We’re so happy to have Joe join Stept. He brings such a unique mix of years of experience, proven record of developing talent, and a true entrepreneurial spirit which is what makes him a great fit for what we are building here. I know that Joe's contributions will help push Stept to the next level,” said Stept founder and CEO, Nick Martini.
