Lemonade Presents will launch its 2026 programme on Wednesday 18 March with The Female Lens: working 9 to 5 to keep the artistic dream alive, an evening of conversation, exhibition and community celebrating women sustaining creative careers across advertising and the arts.

Held at All Is Joy Studios in Soho, the event brings together directors Phoebe Arnstein of Magna Studios, Lucrecia of PRETTYBIRD and Priya Ahluwalia from Caviar, in conversation with host Tina Mwazange, producer at BBH and visual artist/poet.

The panel will explore how directors balance commercial briefs with passion projects and how creative careers can be sustained without losing the voice that made them worth hiring in the first place.

Mwazange says: “So many women in our industry are making art in the margins of their lives. This year's Female Lens is about giving that work a room of its own and reminding each other that protecting your creative voice isn’t indulgent, it’s necessary.”

Katie Millington, Executive Producer and Creative Partnerships Director at Lemonade, adds: “Lemonade Presents was created to bring the industry into conversation with itself. Many of us live a double creative life- briefs by day, passion projects by night, and that’s not a flaw. It’s how the industry renews itself. This year’s Female Lens is about protecting your artistic soul while navigating ad land, and recognising that those passion projects are where the best ideas are born.”

Beyond the panel, the evening features a live activation by Gaby Grant of adam&eveDDB and her project These Tits Are Mine, which empowers women to reclaim ownership of their bodies through custom hand-printed garments. A discreet private photo booth will be available on the night for guests to create their own images and pre-order pieces in a fun, safe and supportive space.

A pop-up gallery exhibition will showcase works by Valentina Schwendinger (Hormonella), Mwazange (Amateur, Compression, Heat Index, Inside Weather), Chloe Neal (Endobroidery), Millington (Let Her Hang Poetry Project) and Ciara Holmes (A Brave New World), before DJ Kitty of Felt Music keeps the party going until midnight.

Part of International Women’s Day celebrations, The Female Lens is made possible by the generous support of our sponsors. A huge thanks to PRETTYBIRD, Magna, Caviar, Abroad Films and Felt Music whose commitment to championing female talent and meaningful industry conversation has helped bring the event to life. We simply could not do this without them.
