Window and door designer Pella has launched a new campaign, Stormy Heights, to showcase the durability of its Impervia fiberglass product line. 

The campaign was created by San Francisco-based Eleven, Pella’s creative agency-of-record, and will run across broadcast, digital and social. The 30-second spot welcomes viewers to Stormy Heights, a fictional community that endures constant tumultuous weather conditions, including strong winds, rain, snow and both brutally hot/cold temperatures. However, despite the unpredictable weather, the residents of Stormy Heights persevere due to Pella’s durable, weather-tested fiberglass window materials.

"Our vision was to make Stormy Heights a place everyone could connect with, and, at the same time, be somewhere none of us would ever want to live," said Jack Harding, Creative Director at Eleven. “Pella makes windows that truly can withstand everything from blizzards to blazing heat to sandstorms, so we wanted to show that in a way that was new to the industry.”

Given that Americans typically only purchase new windows one to two times in a lifetime, Pella and Eleven worked to highlight the qualities that consumers might consider in a window brand, quality, design and durability. And while there is no place quite like Stormy Heights, the conditions featured in the spot mirror the conditions that Pella’s window materials can withstand to provide consumers with state-of-the-art home protection.

This work is the first component of an extended effort to promote the Pella brand with Impervia fiberglass as the hero product in its overall portfolio.
