Work Editorial announce the addition of editor Rebecca Luff to it’s roster. Luff is based in London and represented by Work Editorial globally.

Coming from a small riverside village in the UK, her father being a true local and her mother coming from a very different life in Mauritius, gave her an outlook that made her appreciate the differences in peoples lives and want to see more of the stories out there. She went to study Drama and Media Arts and St Mary’s University in Twickenham. Working all though Uni she had many jobs including retail, promotions and on Radio Bedford.

This gave her an interest in broadcasting and production which led to working on the tabloid talk show The Trisha Goddard Show, whilst this was an eye opening experience it still didn’t feel right. By pure chance a friend offered her a placement at the editing company Final Cut in London and as she says, "I felt completely at home. It was exactly what I was looking for, I loved it!" She remained at Final Cut for four and a half year and whilst there as a receptionist was nominated for Best Editing at the UKMVAS for a music video for Jony Foreigner.

In 2010 she went over to the edit company Tenthree, she was there for nine years and then joined Cut and Run/The Quarry. Working with and developing long standing relationships with Directors including MJ Delaney, Max Fisher, Liz Murphy and Fern Berresford. She was nominated for Best Editing at the Underwire Film Festival for the film Fell directed by Fern Berresford and Russell Warren. She was also won for Best Editor for the short film Hireth Directed by Ryan Andrew at the Berlin Sci Fi Festival. She has also worked on many worldwide campaigns for companies such as Amazon, Tesco Mobile, Samsung, Aldi, Singapore Airlines and many more.

Luff is now ready for the next chapter, “WORK has always had one of the absolute best rosters in the world, so to be joining the team that I’ve admired since day one is immensely exciting and inspiring to me. Their focus on craft, outstanding editorial talent and supportive work ethos is an incredible place to push creative and further hone my craft. And to be reunited with EP Frankie again feels extra special “

Work is so thrilled that Luff is joining the London office, Frankie Elster, Executive Producer, “Ever since I first worked with Rebecca, we started off in the industry together, I could see she had an amazing talent for editing.
