Taco Bell is inviting fans to experience a taste of nostalgia and relive their iconic first five decades by bringing back fan-favourite menu items from the 1960s to the 2000s with the all-new Decades Menu available for a limited time.

For the Relive the 90s film, agency Deutsch LA tapped into the beloved 90s aesthetic, which Gen Z deeply loves. Taco Bell partnered with director Lillie Eiger, known for her signature blend of vivid fashion and lifestyle imagery to recreate an authentic 90s experience, complete with colourful striped booths, original posters, and food wrappers and completed with art direction that included bold, bright colours which allowed the star of the show, the Gordita Supreme to shine! The visual was rounded out by Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger, a signature sound that instantly transports viewers to the era.

Looking back at the memorable moments that Taco Bell was a part of helps us reflect on a time when things seemed more simple and carefree. Now, the best part is our taste buds get to be a part of this experience in time travel.

“Fans have been making memories and experiencing the value that Taco Bell has to offer since the first store opened in the 1960s. “ said Tracy Silagi, Associate Creative Director, Copywriter, Deutsch.

“We tapped into some of those core memories by having them relive the decades with the return of their favorite menu items from each Taco Bell era.”
