Solomun’s secret identity

Referential, with skewed perspective and a strange story, German duo ÄTNA stars in the music video for DJ Solomun. 

Inéz Schafer (of ÄTNA) embodies the spy film’s stereotypical multi-alias assassin, moving through the strangely surreal Kiev brutalist buildings. She’s at points pursued, at points aided, by her other half, Demian Kappenstein. The piece is exhilarating, constantly shifting, introducing new characters and situations in every scene. 

Radioaktive Film, based in Ukraine, teamed up with director Chehad Abdallah at Akkurat Studios for Tuk–Tuk. The shoot was done in two days, filming at the shipyard and Verrnadskiy Library to explore the textures and settings of Kiev.
