Taz Tron Delix directs latest CamelPhat promo

London based COMPULSORY’s Taz Tron Delix delivers another high octane music video as his follow up piece to the audacious Audacity for Stormzy ft Headie One in mid-December. 

This time swapping out 18 wheelers for a mythical journey down the neon-lit rabbit hole. 

We follow an oblivious wide eyed, glitter wearing Alice as she explores a surrealist disturbing underground world that could be a hypnotic dream or enticing nightmare and realizes the only way she can truly escape is by embracing her dark side and letting her desires overwhelm her. 

Leaning on his inspiration in cinema there are more references to classic films in addition to the clear Alice In Wonderland nods. We also see a glimpse into Peter Weir’s The Truman Show as our character tussles with her own sense of reality and of course Kubric’s Eyes Wide Shut is visible throughout. 

Taz said about making the video “The idea behind the film was to take our audience on a deep inward journey into another dimension and alternate spaces, highlighting the emotional journey as a result.
