Samsung Airs its Dirty Laundry in New Campaign
Apparently, the average British adult spends 1,481 hours of their life watching laundry spinning in the washing machine. If that's true, Samsung are onto a winner with this new campaign.

In a world that has an ever-decreasing attention span Samsung has bucked the trend for short, sharp content pieces by creating a single-take advert that lasts over three-minutes and consists of one, single shot. Of a washing machine.
The film, created by Packhorse Productions for Samsung QuickDrive's #LifesTooShort campaign, is set to some classic lift music and is strangely hypnotic and features some funny and knowing captions as the 'action' unfolds.
"We spent a lot of time lighting the washing machine to make it look stunning," explains Charlie Watson, producer at Packhorse. "Filmed over two days, we produced the 200-second TVC, as well as a 66-minute feature film set to a captivating music track scored by Michael Nyman.
"We also made a trailer and a Making Of documentary. Michael was only available to film for one hour during our shoot, which meant everything had to be prepared in advance. It was tense because no-one knew exactly where his inspiration was going to take him, but he was terrific and it was exhilarating to watch one of the greatest talents of the 21st century compose and record live."
The commercial first aired on Channel 4 on Friday 24 during Gogglebox.
