To celebrate its 70th anniversary, car manufacturer Alpine has created a film which examines the history of a brand that, since it began, has had one defining outlook; that lightness is a force.
The spot, created by BETC Étoile Rouge, takes us back to Alpine's greatest moments, from the first nights spent lightening 4CVs in a Parisian garage in 1950, to the creation of the brand in 1955 and its participation in the Mille Miglia, through to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Monte Carlo Rally, the brand's rebirth in 2017, and the historic victory in Formula 1 at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2021.
Directed by Antoine Bardou-Jaquet through Partizan Paris, the near three-minute spot has a bold visual style, combining filmed sequences with vintage car models and animated scenes inspired by comic books, with an original, emotive soundtrack, created by Start Rec, accompanying this journey through time.
