This year’s heartwarming Christmas offering from Amazon, directed by Wayne McClammy through Hungry Man celebrates how small, heartfelt gestures can have a profound impact on others.
The story starts at closing time at a theatre, where the janitor goes about his work whilst singing a tune to himself. Noticing his hidden talent, his colleagues purchases him a tuxedo suit from Amazon, and secretively work together to put him at the centre of his own show.
The following evening, when the amazon delivery has arrived, the music is prepared, and a crowd of coworkers awaits, a microphone is placed on the stage behind him while he’s cleaning. When he turns around, he’s presented with his brand-new tuxedo and encouraged to sing, performing a heartwarming rendition of the beloved 1965 classic What the World Needs Now Is Love.
