From Innocean, a new campaign uses slick effects and CGI characters to show that the Hyundai Tuscon is a car of the future.

Three quadruped robots circle the Hyundai Tucson, examining all of its high-tech features. Although they get stumped by a left-behind dog toy, it seems like the Tuscon impresses the AI. With fantastic CGI and character design, the three robots of Tomorrow Wants Its Car Back have a distinct feel that makes them remarkable.

The commercial was by Scoundrel’s Michael Spiccia. Innocean developed the full campaign which included teasers and planned robotic 'glitches; across social media. Innocean Australia Executive Creative Director, Wes Hawes, said: “The phasing and reactive design of the campaign actually made it all the more impactful, with bots discreetly hidden in multiple channels, before being unleashed to stalk and infiltrate our own advertising and steal the Tucson back. It’s essentially a COVID era campaign - except you’d never know that."
