Created by pro bono creative agency Chemistry, this campaign for the Ad Council and NHTSA raises awareness about the issue of hot car deaths.

Homing in on the very relatable mishaps that stressed parents can make, the 'Never Happens' campaign includes two powerful films, Forgotten, and Gained Access, that were directed by Lisa Rubisch, through Park Pictures.

Pediatric Vehicular Heatstroke (child hot car deaths) is the leading cause of non-crash, vehicle-related fatality for kids 14 and younger. These spots both use simple examples of family life’s imperfect moments to show the many things parents promise never to do. However, with the best will in the world, 'never' can sometimes happen, such as forgetting a child in a hot car or having a child get stuck in a vehicle.

Since cars heat up quickly, the PSAs alert viewers to the dangers of children being alone in vehicles, encouraging all caregivers to always check before walking away from a vehicle.
