Backed by FKA twigs, Home With You shows off a series of dancers moving with emotion and grace but rarely moving far from where they’re placed in the frame.

An exploration of what can be done with the body through a limited, synchronized movement, director Nicolina Knapp has placed women in front of a pastel, pulsating mass. Is it an alien? A manifestation of our own psyche? A metaphor? Sure, it’s all of that. The energy of the interconnected dancers creates a single movement, a pulsating that comes from the collective, creating a mesmerizing synchronicity within the film.

”Dance is probably the most human art form we have. Translating nature and unexplainable beauty into a film is an often underestimated challenge,” says Knapp. She collaborated with choreographer Matilda Fleberg to create this piece. It was produced by B-Reel Films Europe and Tim Lorentzen was the Director of Photography.
