This new short documentary film features contemporary artist Heath Kane, and examines his approach to art and his thoughts about some of his work.

Shot during the most recent UK lockdown period by director Chris Strong, the film is an enlightening portrait of an artist described by the Saatchi Gallery as someone whose "approach follows the practice of poster making and design, with a focus on creating simple, iconic and memorable pieces. Within the artwork he tries to distill subtle but often subversive themes."

One of those themes is masks and his fascination with how we are all, metaphorically, wearing one in any given situation. Less metaphorically, he also discusses his most famous work which sees Queen Elizabeth II overlaid with a Batman mask.
