Prudence Beecroft promoted to MD at Odelay Films

London's Odelay Films has announced the promotion of Executive Producer Prudence Beecroft to the role of Managing Director.
After co-founding Odelay Films in 2016, Prudence Beecroft has been central to the development of the Soho-based production company.
Having worked in various creative producer roles previously, she is well known for establishing progressive and diverse working environments. As the co-founders continue to evolve their business it was an obvious that Beecroft was the most natural person to take the reins, guiding the company towards its future. “Prudence has always shown exceptional qualities as a leader, her drive and determination is unparalleled and made her the unanimous choice by all company founders,” said fellow Co-Founder Ben Falk of Beecroft's appointment.
“Odelay is experiencing a really exciting time in its development," said Beecroft. "The team has all worked so hard over the last five years to achieve our ambitions. From building the infrastructure, our networks and company culture it has all been a challenge, but one we’ve met with the same passion we deliver in everything we do. I’m both delighted and very honoured to step into the MD position. Odelay is known for nurturing new talent and is committed to developing their offering to present a well balanced and inclusive roster. The company is also driven by its passion to become carbon neutral by 2022 and is in the midst of applying for B Corp status. They already offer sustainable ways to shoot and provides creative solutions in order to achieve this. Beecroft will be the driving force as the business embarks on their ambition to be among the first production companies to achieve such an admirable status.
