Cash App and multi-platinum singer, songwriter and producer Shaboozey introduce the new Cash App Tortoise Card, a customisable prepaid Visa debit card.

Featuring a pearlescent black and brown tortoise shell pattern with gold detailing, no two cards are the same. In a world filled with plain, unimaginative debit cards, the Cash App Tortoise Card stands out as a true original.

To celebrate the launch, Cash App has released a new video starring Shaboozey and directed by Fela filmmaker, Jackson Tisi. In the video, Shaboozey uses his Tortoise Card to take a journey back in time, making a purchase that symbolises his rise to fame.

“This is a fun campaign to be a part of,” says Shaboozey. “Style is really important to me so I love the combination of luxury and accessibility of the Tortoise Card.”

The Tortoise Card is fully customisable, so customers can draw unique designs or add stamps, including new, Tortoise-inspired stamps, to showcase their personality and interests. Customers who order the Tortoise Card can select a matching Tortoise theme for their Payment tab, and all customers can now send personalised payments with a Tortoise background so they can send money to friends and family in style. The Tortoise Card also includes features Cash App Card customers know and love including instant discounts with exclusive Offers, special access to concert pre-sales, the ability to save or invest spare change with Round Ups, and more, all without paying high fees or navigating other barriers to entry that can come with premium cards.

“There’s no question that Shaboozey is a ‘1 of 1’ artist, and he was a huge inspiration for this campaign,” said Catherine Ferdon, Cash App Chief Marketing Officer. “We wanted to celebrate self-expression and redefine what makes something feel timeless, and we can’t wait to see how customers personalise their Tortoise Cards.”
