Caviar’s Will Kennedy has teamed up with The Irrepressibles to direct a raw and sensual video for the release of their latest single Will You?

With sexy grunge vocals and lyrics such as ‘Oh homo! Will you take me home?’, Jamie Irrepressible swaggers into indie-rock territory with this indie anthem kicking off his fourth album to date.

Kennedy cleverly utilises the backdrop of an abandoned “afters” sultry bar drenched in moody colour with the early light of dawn seeping through to set the tone. With the allure of two people’s eyes meeting, pent up sexual tension, grit and sweat; we follow our lead protagonists (Lewis and Courtney, who are partners IRL) as they thrust and swell, building like the track in its intensity allowing their movement to be intricately woven within. With a nod to iconic queer imagery, namely Mapplethorpe and Fassbinder; handheld camera work, close ups and intimate choreography accentuates the primal feel of our performers.

Jamie’s music transports you to another world and we wanted to crystallise that sense of cathartic escapism with the video. I’m so grateful to our lead performers, Lewis and Courtney, for bringing such breathtaking energy and compulsive chemistry to the video. I loved every minute on set with such an incredible cast and crew.”
