Another winning spot from the dream team of Parisian agency Romance and Grand Bazar director Katia Lewkowicz, this gorgeous film, titled A Place to Live, is a feast for the eyes and soul.
Like last year’s, Je Désire Être Avec Vous, and 2019’s C’est Magnifique, it is dripping with sentiment and atmosphere. This time, set in a small village in the South of France, it relates the tale of a young teacher about to leave his post at a primary school to set off for Paris.
With the aid of the supermarket chain’s mouth-watering fare, the villagers prepare a secret goodbye banquet for him and the entire community, something that involves a spirited mass shopping trip.
Like the other spots in the saga, the film benefits from a fine song, excellent acting and bags of Gallic charm. Bon appetite.
