Production company 10/10 has unveiled this passionate music video for the Netherland’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, C’est La Vie, by Claude.
The dance film, directed by Berlin-based Ivan Boljat takes viewers on the artist’s journey of self-discovery as confronts his younger self, navigating themes of doubt, identity, and growth.
Award-winning Dutch choreographer Emma Evelein translates this internal struggle into a dynamic and emotional dance, with each setting representing a different phase of his transformation. The climax unfolds as Claude reassures his younger self, allowing the child to step into the future with confidence.
Director Boljat shared: “I’m a huge Eurovision fan, and Claude’s song immediately caught my attention. Dance is a universal language that connects everyone. In this video, the dancers embody Claude’s inner thoughts—his doubts, his affirmations, the internal dialogue we all experience. Working with Claude was fantastic. His energy and openness to dance made the entire process a celebration.”
