If you like your eggs sunny side up, this gorgeous animation – conceived by Pablo and produced by Pulse Films – will be just your cup of tea with milk delivered via a handy on-demand grocery service.
Promoting Deliveroo’s partnership with Co-op, Waitrose, Aldi, Morrisons, and Sainsbury’s to bring a range of products swiftly to your door, the spot, Grocery Utopia, delivers a feast of memorable images.
A yoke shines from a blue sky down on fields of croissants, bananas take to the wing and fly over apple-y hillsides and airborne streams of the popular white cow juice give a whole new meaning to the concept of milk floats.
Doff and the production team collaborated with Arch Model Studio (AMS), known for its work on Wes Anderson films such as Isle of Dogs. Everything in the film was made in real-life model sets, which Arch spent weeks building. From clouds of bread to milk waterfalls – it was all hand-crafted, created, and puppeteered to move in-camera.
Dan Watts, ECD at Pablo said: “It’s been a bread-based joy bringing to life the future of grocery shopping with Deliveroo – and what a gift to never again have to walk 15 minutes in the North London rain for last minute milk.”
