Hinge has made a habit of leaning on its 'Designed To Be Deleted' mantra - a bold shout in the age of apps - and with its latest execution [pun intended] it shows the hilarious fate of the doomed icons.

Featuring stories inspired by real great dates of Hinge couples, Hingie Afterlife sees actress and comedian Patti Harrison take on the role of The Oracle, the saintly individual responsible for reviewing the successful dating stories that led to app-demise.

Developed by Wieden+Kennedy Portland and shot by Biscuit Filmworks' Bine Bach, the endearing film makes hilarious use of potential fates, with each adorable mascot somehow looking cuter despite the carnage.

“I've used Hinge before, and there aren't many apps that are as accommodating to transgender daters," explains Harrison. "It's great to see any app make an effort, but it felt like Hinge really made a meaningful effort.

“Also, as a comedian, this was something where I genuinely agreed with what they are doing. It was a chance to help make dating even better for people.”
