Playing out like the fever dream of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation's Clark Griswald, Leo Burnett's festive offering for McDonald's is as awe-inspiring as it is energy-inefficient.

Backed by Benny Benassi’s electro-fuelled rendition of Satisfaction, The Gift Of McDonald's sees a couple head for their local golden arches down a road lined with excessive illuminations.

Directed by MJZ's Nicolai Fuglsig and with some brilliantly conjured effects from Black Kite Studios, this celebration of Christmas campery lights up our life.
