Directed by Luna Carmoon through ProdCo the music video for Fontianes D.C. is a fever-dream of longing, chance encounters, and teenage ideals of romance.
Starring Ewan Mitchell (House of the Dragon), the film was shot over two days in Sofia, Bulgaria and sees the character Martin fall, once again, for alienated youth Spider, who captures his attention at the pharmacy. From there the couple fall into a heady liaison, endure a painful separation, a large arachnid on the counterpane and giddy make-up snogs at a carnival.
Carmoon commented: “We’re living in this weird time where romantic love is pushed to the side, and sex and love is 'unvirtuous' and no longer what people want to see. I love that these two people have fallen in love with themselves, and I wanted to see them fall in love with each other.”
