The fellowship of the bling

As Vin Diesel's D&D obsession, Henry Cavill's vest-wearing PC build and Taylor Swift's penchant for making homemade snow globes goes to show, even the most glamourous of celebs can embrace their geekiness.

Whilst this campaign for OG MMORPG WOW (or World of Warcraft to normals) might not feature the Diesels and Swifts of this world, it does collect together some enjoyable nerdy screen-stars to, quite literally, Sound the Horn for the game's latest iteration.

Blizzard and 72andSunny worked with Mythic Quest creator and director Rob McElhenney to shoot the 14 celebrities, who were authentic fans of the WOW franchise, over six days of remote production in seven countries around the globe, with most clips were directed entirely over Zoom. 

Whilst collected together in the longform above, the initial release was on social, with the celebs calling to each other using the #soundthehorn hashtag.
