In Denmark people throw broken dishes at houses, in Thailand a chap might pop a penis amulet down his undies (an extra willy carved from wood or bone). Around the world, good luck rituals are many and varied.

In Peru, for instance, one might trek out to the Andes and find a holy man to bestow a blessing. If you’re planning on entering The One Club for Creativity’s show this year, they’ve saved you the trek.

As part of the launch campaign Change Your Destiny, created by Peruvian agency Lanfranco & Cordova and production company Señor Z, the services of a real-life shaman are on hand to boost your chances. A preferable option to those wishing to keep their crockery in tact and maintain optimum underwear comfort.

The campaign kicks off with Cleofe, The Shaman, in which we see a jovial spirit guide carry out a series of chants, dances and other rituals, before blessing work sent to him by email.

To connect with Cleofe send your stuff to him at theshaman@oneclub.org. An auto reply email confirms he has blessed the work and will direct you to The One Show website, where your offerings can be entered into the show.

According to the agency, the campaign concept has some roots in reality.  The co-founders said they know some creative colleagues who go to various lengths to give their work good luck before entering it into awards shows.
